Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 11, 2026 · Version 2.1

The Summary You Actually Care About

We do not want your documents. We do not store your documents. We cannot see your documents. All file processing (merging, splitting, compression, image rendering) happens entirely inside your web browser’s memory using client-side JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded over the internet to our servers.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Unlike legacy cloud converter platforms, PDF Toolkit Pro does not collect:

  • Document Content: Text, images, vector paths, tables, or annotations.
  • File Names: We do not log the names of documents processed.
  • Personal Data within Files: Medical, financial, legal, or identifying credentials.
  • User Profiles: There are no user accounts, passwords, or stored session states.

2. How In-Browser Processing Operates

When you select a document on our site:

  1. Your browser reads the binary data directly into local device Random Access Memory (RAM) using standard HTML5 APIs.
  2. Our algorithms parse the PDF structure, perform the requested mathematical transformation (e.g. stitching xref tables or compressing streams), and return a localized Blob URL.
  3. The moment you navigate away or close your browser tab, all temporary memory allocations are wiped clean by your browser’s garbage collector.

3. Web Analytics & Telemetry

We believe in respectful, privacy-focused analytics. We do not use third-party invasive trackers. We may record basic anonymous, aggregated technical metrics (e.g. total page views, browser type, general country of origin) solely to monitor platform health and uptime. These metrics are strictly decoupled from document operations.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

PDF Toolkit Pro does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or behavioral profiling mechanisms. We do not store persistent document identifiers in your browser’s localStorage.

5. Regulatory Compliance

Because our system utilizes a Zero-Transfer Architecture:

  • GDPR (EU): We never act as a data processor for your documents, as your data never touches our infrastructure.
  • HIPAA (US): Health information remains strictly on the client’s covered entity hardware.
  • CCPA / CPRA (California): We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.

6. Contact Regarding Privacy
