Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 11, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the PDF Toolkit Pro web application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description & Ownership of Files

PDF Toolkit Pro provides client-side document manipulation utilities including merging, splitting, compressing, and rendering PDF documents. All processing is executed strictly inside your local web browser. You retain 100% full, unencumbered ownership and intellectual property rights to any documents processed through the Service. PDF Toolkit Pro claims zero rights, licenses, or ownership over your content.

3. Permitted & Fair Use

The Service is provided free of charge for personal, commercial, and enterprise productivity purposes. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise the software delivery mechanics of the site.
  • Use automated scrapers, bots, or distributed denial-of-service techniques against the hosting infrastructure.
  • Misrepresent PDF Toolkit Pro as your own proprietary commercial software without prior written authorization.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. While our algorithms adhere rigorously to the ISO 32000 specification, we always recommend keeping archival backup copies of critical master documents before applying any transformation.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PDF Toolkit Pro, its developers, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including data loss or interruption of business) arising from the use of or inability to use this software.

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service following revisions constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
